Every year the Accelerate Event seems to have a different flair to it and this year’s event was no exception. The Vienna Novomatic Forum offered a great setting for Software Quality Assurance Experts to exchange the latest information concerning methods, processes, and reporting in software testing and test management.
According to Wolfgang Platz, Founder & CPO, Tricentis, it’s all about “continuous testing”. Sandeep Johri, CEO, Tricentis, mentioned that devops should be renamed “devtestops”, which we agree with whole heartedly. Franz Fuchsberger, Co-Founder & CSO, Tricentis, reported that Tosca is having tremendous traction in the market and this was evident with the number of QA leaders who attended from Europe, India, and also the United States as well.
At this year’s Accelerate, we were speaking English almost as much as German, with the common language being the same everywhere – how to address the key challenges of software testing. Delegates all seemed to be grappling with issues such as: the speed and demands of digitalization, agile development, tight resources and time-to-market pressures. Keeping pace with software testing in the mobile race continues to be a critical theme.
Of course, without consolidated and aggregated test information, it’s virtually impossible to optimize QA reporting and hence, decision-making based on the entire QA portfolio. With visibility and transparency across testing projects, banks, financial institutes, insurance companies, telecoms and other industries can have a complete view of QA trends and potential problem areas. For the first time, QACube with One-Click visualizations and dashboards, provides at-a-glance visibility that is always up-to-date -- without the need for consolidation and aggregation, nor the creation of time-consuming Excel graphics.
Filip Milikic, CEO and Founder of QACube presented “See Your QA – Visual Analytics for Tricentis Tosca” and Peter Antoni, Head of Pre-Sales, QACube demonstrated QACube for Tosca For more information, visit www.qacube.com
