600 Minutes Executive IT Event – What We Learned

October 28, 2016

On Wednesday, 26th October, downtown Zurich was drenched in rain and backlogged in traffic. Still the 600 Minutes Executive IT Event kept its promises for the exchange of ideas among IT Executives from the largest organizations in Switzerland --(although I never got the secret chocolate recipe from Bart Pac from Barry Callebaut AG)!

The Keynote Speech with Turkka Keskinen from UPM Kymmene shared best practices for "Elements of Excellent IT". Some of the points that stood out are:

  • Create a performance-driven culture
  • Empower agility & innovation
  • Make teams accountable for results
  • Drive value that is close to the business.
  • Have the right people in the right positions
  • Build a leading team
  • Ensure the right balance of on-site, off-site and nearshore
  • Set targets and milestones
  • Create a high level project portfolio for KPI reporting
  • "Do the right things"

Thanks to the organizers of #600MinutesExecutive IT for a super event! Now back to the many follow up emails...

It struck me that QACube with its #QA #VisualAnalytics and #Dashboards delivers a way to simplify #QAReporting and have the visibility and transparency to do the right things. QACube helps drive competitive advantage with predictive QA visual analytics and dashboards across popular ALM/software testing tools such as: CA Agile Central (formerly Rally), HP QC Enterprise, JIRA, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Team Foundation Server, Redmine, Tosca Testsuite, Spira Test... so you can deliver great software on time and with less risk.

Banks, Financial Services, Insurance Companies, Telcos and others can achieve QA visibility and transparency for faster time-to-market with lower risk. For more information, please visit www.qacube.com
